Alex Deller (Collective Zine) - Targets are off to a pretty fantastic start with this demo: six tracks of belligerent, red-raw hardcore that seems to be perpetually on the brink of haemorrhage. The mix of blunt ugliness and borderline catchiness makes me think of a more blasted, blown-out take on some of those early Fucked Up singles or a less-honed version of that brilliant (and seemingly undervalued) Deaf Mutations 7″. Not bad comparisons to have this early in the game, and a great release all round!
